Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
DevPipe (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates devpipe.dev, a catalog of free browser-based developer utilities. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit the site and use our tools.
100% browser-isolated processing
DevPipe is a 100% browser-isolated platform. Every utility on this site runs entirely inside your web browser tab using local JavaScript and Web Crypto APIs. When you paste or type data into a tool, including sensitive inputs such as JWT tokens, RSA private keys, passwords, API secrets, configuration files, and application logs. That data is processed locally on your device.
We do not transmit, collect, store, log, or retain your tool inputs on our servers. There is no backend API that receives the content you enter. Your data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly copy it out or download a result you generate.
What we do not collect from tool usage
- Tool inputs, outputs, or clipboard contents
- Cryptographic keys, tokens, credentials, or hashes you generate or inspect
- File contents you paste into text areas or upload for local processing
- Session state or computation results from any DevPipe utility
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may receive standard technical data when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP. This data is used for security, performance monitoring, and aggregated traffic analysis, not to inspect tool inputs.
If Google AdSense is enabled on the site, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings.
Local storage and theme preferences
DevPipe stores your light/dark theme choice in your browser's localStorage under the key devpipe-theme. This preference never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.
Third-party links
Our site may link to external services (for example, a Ko-fi support page). Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
Children's privacy
DevPipe is intended for developers and technical professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
